The “Champion Cup”
Many people that attend our competitions do not know the history behind “The Cup” or even what it is. Some have said it is the “The Stanley Cup” of cheerleading. Our goal and mission was to develop a set of cheer events that encouraged excellence. The are difference levels that we award but the highest level received The “Champion Cup” trophy. The team’s name is engraved on the trophy similar to “The Stanley Cup”. This 7ft trophy is taken back to that team’s facility and displayed for 1 year. They then return the next year as the returning champions.

Cathy Buckey Founder, Owner, and President of Champion Cheer & Dance started her cheerleading and dance legacy as Champion Cheer Champs, Inc. in 1979. After closing the camp chapter in Champions life, Champion Cheer & Dance dove full force into providing the absolute best Championships and Nationals there is.
